Shen made her acting debut in Autumn Harvest Uprising, but her breakout role came in 2018 with Meteor Garden, a reboot of the iconic Taiwanese series, where she portrayed Dong Shancai. The role earned her the Baidu Entertainment Award for Character of the Year and cemented her place among China’s emerging television stars. Since then, Shen Yue has starred in over 40 productions, including hit series like A Love So Beautiful (2017), Count Your Lucky Stars (2020), Be Yourself (2021), Mr. Bad (2022), and The Comic Bang (2025).
