After a few years in modeling the acting bug hit and was cast in a short film Unveiling as the lead. Recently appeared in the Oscar Winning movie for best film CODA, starring Emilia Jones and Marlee Matlin, directed by Sian Heder. Kayla was cast a principal singer, as Off Key Girl. Coda was a smash hit in January 2021 at Sundance where it won 4 top awards and also won the SAG award for Best Picture.
