Natalia Avelon moved to Germany with her family at the age of eight and grew up in Ettlingen. After graduating from high school, she initially worked as a fashion model and later studied theater studies in Munich. She gained her first on-camera experience starting in the late 1990s through commercials and the television series *Verbotene Liebe*. Further roles followed in various television productions, among others, as well as in the extended prologue of *Der Schuh des Manitu*. Avelon achieved her breakthrough as an actress in 2007 with the lead role of Uschi Obermaier in the biopic *Das wilde Leben*. For the film, she recorded a new interpretation of the song "Summer Wine" together with Ville Valo, which reached number two on the German singles charts. She later released her debut album, *Love Kills*, featuring collaborations with artists such as Bela B and Guy Chambers. In addition to her work as an actress and singer, Avelon is a member of the SWR3 LiveLyrix ensemble and has appeared in various entertainment programs, including *Das große Backen*. During the 2023/24 season, she also took the stage at the Theater am Dom in Cologne in the comedy *Weinprobe für Anfänger*.
