She has also worked as casting director in films such as Les Misérables, The Martian, The Two Popes, Conclave, and five films in the Star Wars franchise. At the 98th Academy Awards, Gold received a nomination for the inaugural Academy Award for Achievement in Casting for the 2025 film Hamnet.
